The plant is resistant to powdery mildew, loose and covered smuts, shows enhanced tolerance to brown leaf rust, speckled leaf blotch. Under field conditions it is not susceptible to yellow and stem rusts. Due to the group resistance the sort is grown without fungicides.
Economic features. In the competitive variety trial after stubble predecessor without fertilizers the average yield capacity was 3.32 t/ha, which exceeds the national standard by 0.48 t/ha. Provided sufficient moistening on a good agricultural background (N45, P45, K30) the yield capacity amounts to 6.0-6.5 t/ha.
The sort consistently shows high baking qualities of grain: gluten (grade I, GDI 55-65 units) content is 24%. Bread volume yield is 500 mm3, bread mush is finely-porous, white. The total baking score – 4.8-5.0 points. Due to resistant gluten spring triticale flour is able to improve flour from wheat of classes ІV – VІ.
