In the competitive variety trial carried out at the Plant Production Institute the yield capacity was 4.6 t/ha, which exceeds the national standard Aist Kharkovsky by 1.1 t/ha. The potential yield capacity is 6.5-7.5 t/ha. Mass of 1,000 seeds is 43.7 g; seed weight is increased (750 g/l).
The sort has good baling qualities. Bread volume is 420 mm3 from 100 g of flour. The total baking score is 4.3 points. Protein content in grain is 13.8-14.3%; gluten content is 23.5%. Gluten is of grade I with the gluten deformation index of 68 units.
Due to its enhanced drought resistance the sort is recommended both as basic and as emergency culture for growing in forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine for food, technical and forage grain.
