Entered in the Plant Variety Register of Ukraine for growing for growing in steppe and woodlands – 2007; declared as the national standard 2010.

Varietal features. Variety – contecstum (linked), subvariety – mеsomelan (black raphe).
The sort is leafless, semi-dwarf. The stem is typical, the plant height is 65-85 cm, there are 12–14 internodes before the first inflorescence. Flowers are white, there are 2 flowers on the floriferous shoot; the legume is shelling, medium, slightly concave with blunt top. The number average of seeds per legume is 4–5, the maximum number is 8. Seeds are pink, rounded, with black raphe.
Economic features. The sort is grown for grain, mid-ripening. The growing season length is 75–78 days. Mass of 1,000 seeds is 250–270 g. Protein content in seeds  20–23 %. The sort is drought resistant, lodging resistant and suitable for straight-cutting, but needs timely harvesting.
In 2005 the high values of yield capacity were obtained in Rovenskaya region at Rovensky State Center of Plant Variety Expertise – 5.81 t/ha, at Mankovskaya State Variety Station in Cherkasskaya region – 5.1 t/ha. In the steppe Crimea the maximum yield capacity (2.87 t/ha) was obtained in 2010.
According to the data of the field qualifying expertise in woodlands for the period of 2009– 2010 the average yield capacity was 2.33 t/ha, the maximum yield capacity (3.37 t/ha) was obtained in 2009. In forest-steppe the average yield capacity (2.52 t/ha), and the maximum yield capacity (3.72 t/ha in 2009) were obtained at Belotserkovskaya State Variety Station of Kiyevsky State Center of Plant Variety Expertise. In steppe for the period of 2009–2011 the average yield capacity was 2.31 t/ha, and the maximum yield capacity was 3.38 t/ha Kirovogradskaya State Variety Station in 2010.
In 2012 at the commercial farm unit of the Trade and Production Company Intercenter-Lux (Slobodzeysky district, the Moldovan Transdniestrian Republic) the yield capacity of 2.54 t/ha was obtained. Under on-the-farm conditions in 2012 at JLLC Peremoga in Fastovsky district of Kiyevskaya region the yield capacity of 4.30 t/ha was obtained.
