Originator – Plant Production Institute nd. a V.Ya. Yuryev of NAAS..
Varietal features. Variety – contecstum (linked), subvariety – ecaducum (nonshattering xanthospermous).
The sort is leafless, semi-dwarf. The stemis typical, the plant height is 60–80 cm, there are 14-16 internodes before the first inflorescence. Flowers are white, there are 2 flowers on the floriferous shoot; the legume is shelling, moderately long, with blunt top. Legumes are well-filled, the average number of seeds per legume is 5-6, the maximum number is 7. Seeds are pink, rounded, with smooth surface, with a feature of shedding resistance.
Economic features. The sort is grown for grain, mid-ripening. The growing season length is 77–80 days. Mass of 1,000 seeds is 230–250 g. Protein content in seeds - 20–22 %. The sort is lodging resistant and suitable for straight-cutting.
In the competitive variety trial carried out by the Plant Production Institute nd. a V.Ya. Yuryev the maximum yield capacity of the sort (4.61 t/ha) was obtained in 2008. According to the data of the field qualifying expertise in woodlands for the period of 2009–2010 in woodlands the average yield capacity was 2.72 t/ha with the maximum yield capacity of 4.02 t/ha obtained at Gorodenkovskaya State Variety Station in Ivano-Frankovskaya region in 2009. During the same period in forest-steppe the average yield capacity was 2.62 t/ha with the maximum yield capacity of 4.02 t/ha obtained at Belotserkovskaya State Variety Station of Kiyevsky State Center of Plant Variety Expertise in 2009. In steppe for the period of 2009-2010 the average yield capacity was 2.42 t/ha with the maximum yield capacity of 3.08 t/ha obtained at Pervomayskaya State Variety Station in 2009.
In 2012 at the commercial farm unit of the Trade and Production Company Intercenter-Lux (Slobodzeysky district, the Moldovan Transdniestrian Republic) the yield capacity of 4.48 t/ha was obtained.
