Three-way cross hybrid.

Originator - Plant Production Institute nd. a V.Ya. Yuryev of NAAS.

It has been entered in the Plant Variety Register of Ukraine for growing in steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine since 2007, in the Register of Breeding Achievements of the Russian Federation since 2010 in the 5th region, in Uzbekistan since 2013.

Approbation characteristics: plant height - 175 cm; deep-flat calathid up to 24 cm in diameter; huskness - 21%; incrustation – 99.7%; mass of 1,000 seeds - up to 62 g; oil content in seeds – up to 50.1%.

Biological features: ripeness group – middle-early, growing season - 108 days. Lodging resistance- high. Shedding resistance - high. Downy mildew resistance - high. Broomrape resistance - high. Sufficiently drought-resistant and root rot resistant.

Economic features: the most abundant in industry high-yielding three-way cross hybrid Yason has the crop potential over 4.2 t/ha.
Peculiarities of cultivation technology: recommended density – 50,000 plants per hectare. Preparation of soil for sowing – conventional. Fertilizers at the dose of N30 P30 K30 should be applied prior to cultivation or rather within the sowing period. No desiccation is needed if sowing is performed within the optimal period.
Peculiarities of seed industry: in the hybridization areas the parent lines are sown simultaneously. No desiccation is carried out in seed crop areas. Harvesting is performed when the seed moisture content is 10-12%; primary peeling and additional drying are promptly performed until the moisture content is 7%. The yield capacity of the female parent line –  2.5 t/ha. The yield of certified seeds is 60%.
